Your Path to Transformation

A Practice in Listening to the Inner Voice of Love
When the ten heard it, they were angry with the two brothers. But Jesus called to him and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones are tyrants over them. It will not be so among you; but whoever wishes to be great among you must be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first among you must be your slave; just as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.
—Matthew 20:24-28
Beloved,
True freedom comes from being secure in our union, fully known and loved by me. You can be free and unattached to this world because your true essence exists, and will always exist, in me.
I have graciously provided everything in your life—the air you breath, the love you receive, your shelter and safety. I don’t withhold any good thing, but none of it is yours to begin with. Your birthright and heritage is not material, but my presence.
Putting your own needs first will only keep you earthbound to ego. Your ego is small and restrictive. It is a starting point, not your final transformation. When you focus on serving your small ego, you will stay small alongside it. But when you serve others, you will outgrow your ego. You will start to include other people in your worldview, going beyond your own limits.
Serving others is your path towards transformation. It will allow our union to extend into union with all I have created. Imagine how expansive that is! When you taste this freedom, you will start eagerly giving up your privilege for others because it liberates you in the process, too.
